Hey – how did you know thats our first song title – “against the man”, I shall hint to the other band members that we should have capitilized the second and third words – maybe that’s why we aren’t getting airplay! – oh, and so you know – my sobriquet as a songstress was inspired by your blog on hot chocolate … it just seemed fitting!

I’m from the band Stoneyford with our album is titled “…out there marked ‘occupant’” – its a blend of acoustic neo-soul with an R and B reggae zouk groove… quite new on the scene – think of Neo meets Kassav meets Nora Jones meets Junior Gong – its just one big happy meeting… our album cover is a shot of light poles on a highway – very etheral, just like our music! (lol)

I once knew (not very well) a couple members of a West Indian all-girls band called Born to Bitch. I don’t think they ever played in public and I don’t think it was an original name either but the band’s name was definitely a reflection of some of the band members’ personalities

All good music was, is, and will always be inspired by a cause, but not necessarily a worthwhile one)
