A new niece

I am an Aunty again! My sister in law had a baby girl yesterday morning in Trinidad, who from all accounts looks like her father (my brother) and perhaps also like the little girl who until yesterday was the one and only niece, and the one and only grandchild. But I am sure she won’t think about that when she meets her cousin in a couple weeks and has a baba to take care of. I need to book my flight to go and visit the little one.

    6lbs 8 oz, 51 cm long and 33 cm head circumference
    my bro and his wife are of the strict variety…no pictures except for essential services (passport, etc etc)

    but she really reminds me of big niece

  6. Shukran. We are in a family with a girl-majority :-) One brother. 3 of us sisters. Sister the elder is expecting again (due next month), and it would be funny if she had another girl :-)

    and one of her sisters had a girl a couple months ago

    so no grandsons…uh oh :D
